32 LCD TV

What features of a television are important to you, and how can you choose which 32″ television is right for you?  A 32 LCD TV can come with many options, and it is essential to know which ones are optimal to meet your needs so that you can budget accordingly.  Some of the important qualities to take into consideration are type and number of external inputs, sound quality, dynamic contrast ratio, pixilation, resolution, viewing angle, and pixel response time.

On a 32 LCD TV, you’ll want to assure that you have at least one, if not multiple, HDMI inputs for high definition feeds from external devices.  You may also find it useful to have an S-video input and/or a USB input so that the television can double as a monitor for your computer.  Since most people have multiple external devices (game system, DVD player, BluRay player, etc), you may want to assure multiple HDMI inputs are available.

More pixels and a faster response time mean a clearer, more realistic image in real time without any kind of blurring, especially with a lot of motion on the screen.  This is also aided by a high dynamic contrast ratio, which can offer a clearer, more detailed depiction of an image on the screen when the scene is incredibly bright or unusually dark.  A wider viewing angle means that you can move around the room more freely or sit more people around your screen and still have excellent viewing without a skewed appearance.

Most 32 LCD TV screens will be equipped with 5.1 Dolby Digital sound, or its equivalent.  This is probably the bare minimum for excellence in sound quality.  As for resolution, you basically have two options with HDTV.  You can go with the older technology of 720p, which is what television stations are broadcasting in, or you can opt for the latest, purchasing a 1080p television, which will handle the full aspect of BluRay discs and gaming.  The choice is yours, but once you know what you are looking for, you can better explore your price options and availability.
